Wolves name club-record asking price for ‘assist king’ and TOP premier league winger following strong Man United and Arsenal links

Wolves winger Pedro Neto is expected to be the next big player sale at Molineux – and a report has now shared his approximate asking price.

Neto has shone in 2023/23, scoring three goals and making 10 assists so far.

The Portuguese forward has dazzled up top for Wolves with his pace and dribbling, and there has already been plenty of speculation about his future.

It was recently claimed that Neto sees himself as the next big player sale at Molineux.

Wolves are open to selling the 23-year-old, and are realistic about the situation. Apparently, at least six top clubs are chasing the player at the moment, and Wolves are hoping for a bidding war.

Wolves set to demand just under £80 million for Pedro Neto

Football Transfers reported yesterday that Wolves are determined to extract maximum value for Neto.

The reports say they have been told that Wolves will ask for just under £80 million to sell the player in the next window.

It is thought that Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all interested in the player.

Wolves selling for this price would see them absolutely smash their player sale record.

At the moment, Matheus Nunes is the record sale, with the club selling him to Manchester City last summer for a reported £53 million.

£80 million is a fair price for Pedro Neto
If it is true that Wolves are seeking around £80 million to sell Neto, then that is a fair price realistically.

First and foremost, Neto has to be sold for more money than Matheus Nunes, a player who was only ever inconsistent during his time at Molineux.

Secondly, Neto is under contract at Molineux until the summer of 2027, putting the club in a pretty strong position – they don’t have to sell, although ultimately Fosun would like to club to become self-sustaining.

The ‘outstanding’ Neto has showcased his talents this season and it’s clear this is a player with absolutely huge potential.

The only thing with him is his injury record, which clubs could use against Wolves at the negotiating table.

But £80 million is fair – if Antony can join Manchester United for a similar fee, then Neto is surely worth this amount at least.
