PSG midfielder, Ugarte who has been frequently linked to a summer transfer to Manchester United has stated that, after discussions, he would “love” to join the team.

Man United and Manuel Ugarte, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, are now in negotiations about Kobbie Mainoo’s potential midfield partner.

In the summer, a number of European teams are interested in signing the 23-year-old Ugarte, who may leave PSG.

Manuel Ugarte would be thrilled to play for Manchester United in the Premier League.

In a 120-minute match, Ugarte was part of Uruguay’s squad that defeated Brazil on penalties in Las Vegas.

United were officially in attendance to check on Facundo Pellistri’s form, but TBR understands they were there primarily to check on his teammate Ugarte.

The central midfielder is available from PSG and United are one of a number of clubs informed about his availability.

United have now held talks with Ugarte, who was even on the club’s radar before he joined PSG in 2023 for £51m.

Now with changes coming at the Parc Des Princes, United are keen to sign Ugarte again, and TBR is told that the ‘powerhouse’ midfielder would love the chance to play in England with Manchester United.
