Real Madrid have built up quite a reputation for signing some of the brightest young talents from around the globe and then developing them into bonafide superstars under the bright lights of the Santiago Bernabeu.

The likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga and Fede Valverde are great examples. Four games into his career in the Spanish capital, Jude Bellingham is already being hailed as a future Ballon d’Or winner.

So, it is not hard to see why the idea of playing for a footballing institution like Real Madrid would be attractive for players. And it looks like the club have one of Manchester United’s best young talents in their sights.

Alejandro Garnacho has been one of the bright spots for Manchester United over the past couple of seasons. And it looks like his performances have been enough to catch the eye of Real Madrid.

As reported by Fichajes, Real Madrid are closely monitoring the progress of Garnacho. It is being led by Juni Calafat.

Real Madrid want to sign Manchester United player

Of course, Garnacho is no stranger to Spain. In fact, he was born in the capital and played for several years in the Atletico Madrid youth setup before making the move to Manchester United.

He has done very well there and is already a part of Erik ten Hag’s first-team plans at just 19 years of age. He has also made quite a few appearances for the Argentine national team already.

Thus, the sky looks like the limit for someone with Garnacho’s talents. Signing him will be very difficult for Real Madrid though.

It was only recently that the Argentine international signed a contract extension with Manchester United and his current deal runs until the summer of 2028. Thus, there is no pressure on the Premier League side to consider an exit anytime soon
