‘i love Man United but I’ll have to… ‘ – Watch Jadon Sancho makes shock transfer decision as Erik ten Hag faulted for poor Sancho treatment

Manchester United are preparing for this weekend’s Premier League clash with Brighton with Erik ten Hag offering an update on the future of winger Jadon Sancho

Manchester United are preparing to get stuck back into their Premier League commitments this weekend against Brighton.

The Red Devils welcome Roberto De Zerbi’s men to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. Erik ten Hag’s men come into the game off the back of losing out to Arsenal late on last time.

It has been a turbulent fortnight since. Ten Hag and winger Jadon Sancho have had a very public falling out and he has now been banned from training with the first team.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, take a look at all of the headlines coming out of Old Trafford over the past 24 hours:

Sancho open to exit
Jadon Sancho is set to push for a move away from Man United amid the ongoing feud between him and Ten Hag. The former Borussia Dortmund man arrived at the club’s Carrington Training Ground on Friday to train by himself.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Sancho would be open to leaving Old Trafford once the January transfer window opens. There are already a few clubs emerging who could sign him.

Former club Dortmund are considered as a potential destination. Nottingham Forest could also be tempted to swoop for him with Sancho already knowing Reds’ boss Steve Cooper from the England under-17s set-up.

Ten Hag slammed for Sancho treatment
On the topic of Sancho, former Tottenham star Jamie O’Hara has slammed Ten Hag for his approach with the winger and believes the situation could have been handled very differently. “I think it’s disgusting what they’re doing to him,” O’Hara said on talkSPORT.

“I know he’s come out and made a statement, whether that was the right thing to do or not… but was it right of Ten Hag to dig him out when he wasn’t even involved with the group?

“We all know Jadon Sancho needs to be better on the football pitch. And how he does that is getting him back playing football, getting him training and enjoying his football.”
