Personal Terms Agreed! – Man Utd closing in to complete signing of the next ‘Caicedo’ very soon as fifth deal of the transfer window as major Casemiro replacement

Manchester United are set to wade into the transfer battle before it’s too late.

Manchester United are ramping up their efforts to sign Ecuadorian starlet Oscar Zambrano, according to reports. A number of other Premier League clubs are thought to be eyeing up the teenager, who many believe is good enough to become the next Moises Caicedo.

Zambrano was born in the same city as Caicedo and they both earned their stripes in Ecuador.

Caicedo ditched Independiente del Valle to sign for Brighton back in 2021, before joining Chelsea in a British-record £115million move two years later.

As a first-team regular in midfield for LDU Quito, scouts have swarmed around Zambrano and United are believed to be in the mix. Diario Ole Ecuador claim that the Red Devils are now ‘accelerating’ their efforts to sign the youngster as rival suitors close in.

Lack of goals is a glaring issue that needs resolving at United, with big-money summer signing Rasmus Hojlund failing to come up with the goods, and Marcus Rashford suffering a nosedive in form.

Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner have both been touted as potential loan targets, despite neither player putting up groundbreaking numbers during their respective spells in the Premier League
