Man United set to offload £106m duo in the summer window including Casemiro

As reported by ESPN, Casemiro and Anthony Martial could be at the end of their road at Manchester United. The £106m duo is expected to depart from Old Trafford in the summer window.

The Brazilian midfielder was one of the most important players for United during Erik ten Hag’s first season at the club. However, his unavailability during the second albeit due to injury left a huge hole in their lineup.

This led to the emergence of Kobbie Mainoo and now it seems like the 18-year-old might fully replace the Brazilian superstar at Old Trafford.

Casemiro also has a huge wage bill which doesn’t make sense since Mainoo is on the scene now.

On the other hand, Anthony Martial has just been a massive disappointment. In 19 appearances this season, the Frenchman only recorded two goals and one assist. He has also been missing from the squad since December.

His time on the outside started with an illness which somehow turned into him getting a groin surgery.

Martial might not be back before the end of the season which is also when his contract expires.
