Man United have agreed to pursue £60m Juventus defender following a greenlight from incoming sporting director Dan Ashworth

Manchester United must improve on all fronts if they are to have any hope of challenging for the title in the next season.

On priority basis, the Red Devils must reinforce the backline and the name of Gleiosn Bremer has been on the radar for some time.

The Brazilian international has been one of the best players for Juventus this season and United are willing to splash the cash to secure his signature.

According to Tutto Sport, the Old Trafford outfit are in the front row to capture the ‘big’ signing of Bremer and new owner, Ratcliffe, is ready to submit an offer.

The famous Italian media outlet have revealed that Man Utd are prepared to bid around £42.9million (50 million euros) to lure the South American from the Old Lady.

However, Juventus are looking to get a fee of at least 60 million euros to offload Bremer in the next transfer window.

In the current campaign, unfortunately Man Utd have had to deal with multiple injury concerns at the back.

On the other hand, senior center backs like Varane, Maguire and Lindelof, have not been consistent enough.

The Frenchman will turn 31, the England international will turn 32 and the Swedish defender will turn 30 this year. So, the 20-time English champion must improve the central defense with an eye on the future.
