Man United offered the chance to sign £30m sensational Juventus striker as Reds consider short-term options for January transfer window

Man United have been given the opportunity to sign Moise Kean, who currently plays for Juventus in Serie A.

Manchester United have struggled for goals this term. Erik ten Hag’s men have not been finding the back of the net with any real regularity, which is proving to be a real problem for the Old Trafford side.

As Rasmus Hojlund continues to find his feet, a little extra help for the young man definitely wouldn’t go amiss. In terms of options, it’d likely be another six-month loan deal, similar to Wout Weghorst last term.

HITC’s Graeme Bailey has provided an update on that front, with Moise Kean a name that could be on the Reds’ radar.

According to the report, United, along with Chelsea, have been ‘offered the chance’ to sign the 23-year-old striker from Juventus.

Sources have told HITC that both the Reds and Chelsea are considering making a move to sign an attacker on a short term deal

Kean has only started six games for Juve since making the move back to Italy, meaning he’s struggling for minutes so a move could well be on the cards.

Juve are happy to allow Kean to leave on loan this month, as long as his wages are covered by the club that eventually wins his signature.

The striker has previous in England, having played for Everton as a young man, without really making a real positive impact of note. He’s obviously matured a lot since then and is at a different stage of his career. Whether or not he can succeed at this level is another question entirely.

He’s struggling for minutes at Juve right now, while I’d have to assume he’d remain behind Hojlund in the pecking order. There’s also still Anthony Martial around (for the time being). It could be an interesting fight between the Frenchman and Kean if both were to be at the club beyond the January transfer window
