Man United eyeing surprise move for Everton duo this summer after £130M transfer claim made -Reports

Manchester United are now eyeing two Everton players in Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer, according to the United Stand’s Sam.

The London-based journalist, claims that the Old Trafford outfit aim to raise up to £130million from player sales

It’s understood that United have liked Calvert-Lewin for the past few days.

Sam wrote on Twitter: “Told transfer work continues with Olise, Branthwaite, and Toney as primary targets, and Calvert-Lewin also being considered.

“Amrabat might stay if no new central midfielder is acquired. Despite limited funds, United aim to raise £100m-£130m through player sales, including Sancho, Casemiro, and Greenwood. Branthwaite currently seen more likely than Todibo.

“United have actually liked Calvert Lewin for a few windows.”

The Toffees must stand firm on their valuations of Branthwaite and Calvert-Lewin, despite Manchester United’s interest and financial power.

Branthwaite has been valued in the range of £70-80million [Evening Standard.], similar to other top-tier defenders, reflecting his potential and the club’s need to balance the books.

United’s interest in both players underscores their quality, but the Toffees cannot afford to let them go cheaply.

Selling these key assets could destabilise the team and Everton should demand a premium to ensure they can adequately replace them.

With United’s financial resources, they can afford to meet the Merseyside club’s demands if they truly value these players and the Toffees must not undervalue their assets in the face of United’s interest.
