Man United ‘agree terms’ with £34m Serie A forward as impressive £12m breakthrough found

According to reports from Caught Offside, Manchester United have moved ahead of AC Milan in the race to sign Joshua Zirkzee after the Italian club’s failure to reach an agreement with Bologna.

The newspaper has been informed by sources that United and the Dutch striker have come to a personal terms deal.

There are reportedly discussions taking place with the Serie A team over the specifics of how the £34 million release clause will be funded.

Following Anthony Martial’s departure and their striking unit’s goal-scoring woes from the previous Premier League season, United is searching for a new striker.

Manchester United would probably have to postpone talks with the player after Holland secured their spot in the semifinals, according to MEN Sport.
Zirkzee was a late change from Ronald Koemann as Oranje turned the game on its head after trailing for 35 minutes.

Erik ten Hag will need to bolster his strike options whether it is with one attacker or two, but should the reports be true surrounding Zirkzee, he will be a good option to have in their attacking department and will arrive in the Premier League in good form, should a move materialise.
