Insider Reveals stunning Landing spots for Jets Quarterback Aaron Rodgers

Ian Rapoport suggested that New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers could land with the Cleveland Browns, stunning the football world in one last stand under center.

On a dreary Sunday in Orchard Park, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers authored the latest chapter of his increasingly strange NFL career.

It might as well have been his last.

In New York’s 40-14 loss, Rodgers turned 12 completions on 18 attempts into 112 yards, no touchdowns, two interceptions, and an early exit.

Backup Tyrod Taylor relieved Rodgers of his duties in the second half—scoring two touchdowns—and furthered the case for Rodgers not returning in 2025.

Facing crucial decisions at head coach and general manger, Rodgers only makes the Jets less attractive. Fair or not, former head coach Robert Saleh saw his tenure end with Rodgers under center, and coaches aren’t exactly lining up to sign up for a power struggle.

A cleaner cap sheet and the ability to completely reset are tempting reasons for the Jets to move on entirely from the Canton-bound passer. But where might he land?

If the answer isn’t retirement, it could be another AFC organization haunted by decades of misfortune.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Cleveland Browns could be in the market for his services, especially with quarterback Deshaun Watson expected to return for at least one more season after restructuring his contract.

“I would expect some competition though, wouldn’t be surprised if it’s veteran competition,” Rapoport said on NFL GameDay Morning. “Aaron Rodgers, if he’s out of the Jets, would be one potential option. Kirk Cousins, the other.”

A rumor that would have Cleveland sifting between two post-Achilles tear quarterbacks in the twilight of their careers is far from ideal, but it’s part of the bed one makes when they hand Watson the most expensive, fully-guaranteed deal in league history.

It would be among the ugliest situations in football, but for elderly passers looking for one last shot, there simply aren’t enough suitors to create leverage.

Rodgers has statistics to chase and points to prove. Cleveland has an open spot under center, little regard for controversy, and plenty of open snaps, assuming Watson spends the season on the sideline.

This arrangement would allow the Browns to not tank while giving the Jets a path back to normalcy under the next administration, something everyone involved could feasibly get behind as both teams tumble to the finish line
