Griezmann to Man Utd! – £30m Athletico Madrid striker sends transfer message to Manchester United

Man United have been linked with a move for the Atletico Madrid talisman with Erik ten Hag keen to find support for Rasmus Hojlund.

Antoine Griezmann hopes to become a legend at Atletico Madrid.

Antoine Griezmann has poured cold water on links with Manchester United by insisting he wants to become a ‘legend’ at Atletico Madrid.

Recent media reports in Spain had linked United with a move for Griezmann, suggesting there could be a release clause worth just €25million (£21.7m) in his contract.

“I have to earn myself to be a legend in this club,” Griezmann told Marca. “That’s my mission. By 2024 I want to bring joy to the fans and some title for Atlético. It would be a dream.”
