Sky Sports journalist reveals Man United ‘determined to do everything possible’ to sign €95M star -Reports
According to reports, Manchester United is determined to recruit Randal Kolo Muani, a Paris Saint-Germain misfit, this winter.
The Red Devils will require an offensive boost in January, since Marcus Rashford is probably on his way out after being dropped by Ruben Amorim several times.
This season, the squad has been lacking goals due to the poor play of even their remaining possibilities, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
The Premier League powerhouses have been connected to a number of possible applicants for the position in recent weeks, including Napoli bomber Victor Osimhen (who is currently on loan at Galatasaray) and Amorim’s former Sporting CP student Vikotor Gyokeres.
Kolo Muani’s candidacy hasn’t diminished, nevertheless, as he may be the most viable choice in January after losing favor with Luis Enrique, who has been excluded.
So according to Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Man Utd are now making concrete steps in their attempts to lure the France international to Old Trafford. The source insists that United are ‘determined to do everything possible’ to land the 26-year-old this winter.
The Red Devils will try to sign the striker on an initial loan deal while hoping to insert an option to buy, which would be their ideal scenario. Nevertheless, the journalist warns the club of the stern competition for Kolo Muani’s services, as Chelsea, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Juventus, AC Milan, and others are all tracking the wantaway star.
The France international rose to fame during his time at Nantes, and was then poached by Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer in 2022.
The German side made a massive windfall by selling him to PSG for a whopping €95 million a year later, but the striker never truly flourished at Le Parc des Princes
