Premier League boss opens door for Man United to try and sign £100M Brazilian midfielder

Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has hinted that he may have no control over exits from the club in the summer, as Man United eye up a move for Bruno Guimaraes.

The Brazilian star has been impressive for the Toon since since his move to the Premier League just a few windows away – and has really developed into a class Premier League star.

His performances this season has led to alot of speculation that a number of clubs are interested in a potential deal for the Brazilian International – with Manchester United one of this chasing sides.

Speaking following his team’s post-season friendlies in Australia, Howe admitted that there could be some exits.

“I don’t think it will be an overhaul but I am not in control of it. Some things might happen so you don’t know. I have seen it so many times where things you don’t expect unfold.

So we have to be ready to adapt,” he told ChronicleLive.

“I think the most important thing that must happen is we have a stronger squad at the end of this window when we leave it. But there’s no guarantees of that. I can only work as hard as I possibly can to make sure it happens.”

Guimaraes is a player that should be challenging for titles and playing in the Champions League – he is ready for that next big move.

There have been so many players in that Man United squad that have been pretty poor for Erik Ten Hag – but if they manage to acquire the services of Guimaraes – he could make a massive impact at Old Trafford.

However – there is so much interest in the man and with all the issues that United are having – there are better options for the Brazilian
