NFL Trade Rumors: Garrett Wilson To Ask Out Of New York Jets Says Insider
Garrett Wilson, wide receiver for the New York Jets, apparently wants out as per an NFL insider. Wilson and the Jets are currently third in the AFC East after winning four games and losing ten this season.
In their most recent matchup, the Jets played the Jacksonville Jaguars and won the game with a final score of 32-25.
According to NFL insider Rich Cimini, Wilson wants a trade out of the Jets since he is not finding enough options to show off his performance. However, this is only rumored news and not a fact. Wilson leaving the Jets will not be the only change that the team can be expected to see this offseason, after an unsuccessful campaign so far.
“I talked to people in Garrett Wilson’s circle,” Cimini said. “This is speculation on their part. They think he will ask for a trade after the season. Again, speculative by people who know him. We don’t know that to be a fact.” Cimini said on ‘Flight Deck’.
New York Jets are bound to lose a few players during the offseason, and perhaps even Aaron Rodgers. Before the season started, the Jets were one of the teams which had the most potential.
Fans and analysts everywhere were expecting plenty of explosive performances by the Jets. However, New York continues to disappoint their fans in the season, even today.
While the rumors about him keep spreading, Garrett Wilson has come out to say that he does not plan to leave the New York Jets.
Indeed, Wilson has not been able to do much this season with the Jets after the team granted him very few options to do so.
Despite all this, Wilson seems to be keeping his hopes up and is eager to prove his mettle in the next season.
To silence haters, Wilson took to social media to tweet “NY JET TTWFO”, which means ‘New York Jet Till The Wheels Fall Off’.
In this season, Wilson has managed to put up 84 receptions for 933 yards in total, along with six scores.

In his most recent appearance against the Jaguars, Wilson managed three receptions for 56 yards, along with a solo touchdown.
Next up, the New York Jets are scheduled to meet the Los Angeles Rams in action on Sunday to continue the NFL season. New York will definitely try to win in that game and move up the AFC East ladder
