Man Utd transfer news LIVE! – Marcus Rashford “unhappy” as Jim Ratcliffe eyes shock transfer move for Copenhagen superstar

Manchester United extended their excellent Premier League form ahead of the international break with victory over Luton with Erik ten Hag now having a fortnight away from action on the pitch

Manchester United now have a two-week break after a rollercoaster month both on and off the pitch.

The Red Devils have suffered damaging defeats against Manchester City, Newcastle and Copenhagen. However, they are actually one of the most in-form sides in the Premier League after winning four out of their last five league games.

There have also been more dramatics off the pitch with Sir Jim Ratcliffe ready to seal a deal for 25 percent of the club, while there have been questions over Erik ten Hag’s position at Old Trafford. Take a look at all of the latest Manchester United news over the past 24 hours:

Rashford ‘very unhappy
Alan Shearer has claimed that Marcus Rashford has looked “moody” and “very unhappy” while representing the Red Devils this season. The academy graduate has struggled to find his best form this season with just one Premier League goal to his name.

Asked to explain the forward’s stuttering form, Shearer said: “I think the simple answer is we don’t know because we’re not within the football club.

According to reports, a number of Premier League clubs are interested in his services but he could be tempted by a move to France, with Nice also eyeing him. Ratcliffe’s INEOS have owned the Ligue 1 side since 2019.

The 17-year-old winger, who prefers to play on the right flank and cut inside on his left foot, has scored eight goals in 20 appearances across all competitions this season.

Ten Hag admits to concerns
Erik ten Hag has admitted that he has “other concerns” despite breaking a Red Devils’ record. The Dutchman marked his 50th Premier League game in charge with his 30th win – the most of any United manager.

However, he was not interested in that accolade and was far more focused on the limitations of his own side. “That’s a nice achievement but at this moment I can’t do anything with it,” Ten Hag said after the win against Brentford.

“I have other concerns. What’s important is we’re not always playing that well this season, but you’ve seen we’re stepping up – in Copenhagen and also this performance, creating a lot of chances. I think it gives belief for the future, that we’re not that far away
