Man Utd now ready to challenge Arsenal for £30m Fenerbahce superstar who is keen to play in the Premier League

It is reported that the race for Sebastian Szymanski is now heating up, with Tottenham now set to be challenged by a couple of their Premier League rivals of the midfielder.

Over the last couple of weeks, Szymanski has been mooted as a potential target for Spurs and this has now also been backed up by TEAMtalk.

The outlet explains that the Lilywhites are on the lookout for an energetic midfielder who can arrive late into dangerous areas, with the Poland international thought to fit the bill.

However, the report adds that the 24-year-old, who has managed 12 goals and provided 14 assists across all competitions, is also attracting interest from both Man Utd and Arsenal, who will not allow the player to go to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without a fight.

The publication reveals that AC Milan and Inter Milan also have their eye on the Szymanski but it is suggested that they might not be able to compete with the Premier League sides.

Fenerbahce are thought to rate the midfielder very highly and thus allegedly have no intention of considering offers of less than £30m.

One can understand why the interest in Szymanski is mounting ahead of the summer, given the ridiculous numbers that the midfielder is posting in the Turkish league. Tottenham might view the Polish star as a useful backup for James Maddison
