Manchester United are back in action on Sunday when they take on strugglers Luton Town away from home.

The Red Devils have been in good form over recent weeks, climbing back into the European race, but the Hatters have also begun to find their feet in the Premier League, giving themselves a solid chance of survival.

United are just six points off the top four as things stands, currently in sixth, and they have a couple of winnable – on paper – games ahead of facing rivals City. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

United are said to be ‘prioritising’ a move for a certain striker ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have been linked with a number of forwards over recent months, likely to add competition for Rasmus Hojlund.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich starlet Mathys Tel is their chosen forward. “In the past few weeks, Man United have intensively analysed him,” Plettenberg wrote on X.

“The club have contacted his management and inquired about a potential transfer in the summer. United definitely want to sign another striker in the summer. Aside from that, they are very satisfied with (Rasmus) Hojlund.”

United are also expected to strengthen their back-line this summer having been left short at times this season. According to Fichajes, Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries is the man they will pursue.

It’s claimed United could offer as much as £43million to land the Dutchman, who has proven himself as a top-level right-back for both club and country. United currently have Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot at right-back, but the latter is only under contract until 2025
