Manchester United have been linked with Denzel Dumfries for some time and even in the last transfer window, the Dutch international was on the radar at Old Trafford.

If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then Man Utd are at the forefront to finally sign the Inter Milan star in the summer transfer window.

As per a story covered by Tutto Sport (via FC Inter News), the Red Devils are in the front row to sign Dumfries from the Nerazzurri.

The Serie A leaders have been unable to agree a new deal with the Oranje defender, who may end up leaving San Siro in the summer.

His current contract with Inter will expire next year and it is reported that his market value is around £34million (40 million euros).

However, the valuation could even rise to 50-55 million euros with a wealthy Premier League club like Man Utd interested in signing the player.

Dumfries is not only a solid defender but also productive in the attacking third.

In the current campaign, so far, the 27-year-old star has started 15 games in the league and helped Inter Milan keep 12 clean sheets.
