Man United scouts in attendance to watch £80m-rated striker score twice ahead of summer transfer
Manchester United will hope to arrest their poor run of form when they travel to face Everton on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils were beaten 1-0 by fellow strugglers Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, meaning they have now won just four of 14 Premier League matches since Ruben Amorim took charge in November.
With his side currently occupying 15th place in the Premier League table, winning the Europa League may be Amorim’s best chance of ensuring that United qualify for European football next term.
Those steering United’s recruitment are also likely to want to bolster Amorim’s squad when the transfer window reopens this summer, and it appears that they have already begun scouting potential targets.
As per TBR Football, the Premier League side had scouts in attendance to watch Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen score twice against Rizespor on Monday night.
The Nigerian is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Italian side Napoli, and he has netted 14 times in 18 Super Lig matches so far this term.

Osimhen, 26, was heavily linked with a move away from Naples last summer but, after a permanent move to one of Europe’s ‘top five’ leagues never materialised, he eventually moved on loan to Turkey.
Despite this, the Nigeria international remains of interest to some of Europe’s biggest clubs, and the report claims that United have identified him as a target as they look to bolster Amorim’s attacking options.
United’s Premier League rivals Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Osimhen in the past, and the report claims that the Blues remain interested in the striker.
