Man United receive huge boost in the race to sign £60m ‘incredible’ Raphael Varane ‘replacement’

Manchester United are considering a swoop for £60million-valued Juventus defender Bremer this summer.

That’s according to reports from Il Bianconero as the Premier League giants mull over potential replacements for former Real Madrid superstar Raphael Varane – on the proviso he leaves Old Trafford.

Varane only has a few months left to run on his contract at United, although the club do hold a 12-month option, with INEOS expected to be heavy-handed in the market after investment from Sir Jim Ratcliffe was finalised. Their main priority includes a proposed recruit at centre-back to partner Lisandro Martinez.

Bremer, 26, is among several names to be mooted and the Brazil international continues to earn rave reviews for his performances with Juventus this season.

He has totted-up 70 appearances, with seven goals, since joining the Old Lady from Torino in 2022.
