Man United ready to agree over £100,000 a week personal terms to secure signing of Incredible Everton Midfielder amid strong Arsenal interest

Manchester United have tabled a lucrative offer to hire the services of Belgian midfielder, Amadou Onana, from Everton.

According to Mundo Deportivo from yesterday, the Red Devils have a better chance than Barcelona of acquiring the defensive midfield player.

The Toffees star is Barca’s backup plan to strengthen the No. 6 spot at the team, according to the Catalan media site.

They would not be able to compete with wealthy teams who are trying to sign the midfield player, though, because of the poor economic climate.

According to MD, Man Utd made the Merseysiders an initial bid of 55 million euros and promised to pay a further 5 million euros in goals to get Amadou Onana.

Currently, the 22-year-old play breaker takes home a salary of £100,000 a week and his contract at Goodison Park will expire in 2027.

As per the Spanish source, Man Utd have even offered Onana a considerable pay rise, so they are ready to agree terms worth over £100,000 a week to get the signing done.

The Belgian star scored two goals in the Premier League for Everton last term and also helped them keep 8 clean sheets in 23 starts.

At the European Championships, so far, he has started both the group games for the Red Devils and was impressive in the 2-0 victory against Romania at the weekend.
