Manchester United are readying a shock offer to seal the signing of Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The Spaniard was brought in by the Red Devils on loan from the North London club last summer. But it was quite uncommon for him to be in Ten Hag’s starting lineup.

According to a Football Insider exclusive, Manchester United is preparing an offer to sign Reguilon permanently.

Spurs are willing to trade the former Real Madrid left defender for as little as £10 million because his contract is set to expire in less than a year.

According to FI, Man Utd is preparing to sign Reguilon in an attempt to find a replacement for Luke Shaw in the left-wing position.

This should be viewed as shocking because of how long his loan period lasted at Old Trafford.

Even with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia out injured, Ten Hag only opted to start Reguilon four times in the Premier League.

Center back, Victor Lindelof, and defensive midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat, were preferred over the 6-capped Spaniard in the left back role.
