Man United predicted line-up vs Everton as Erik ten Hag forced into big decisions with two stars injured

The Manchester United manager faces selection dilemmas in midfield and up front.

Erik ten Hag will have to make at least two changes to his starting line-up against Everton, to the one which was selected in the win over Luton Town.

Manchester United ended the last stretch of Premier League fixtures with a 1-0 win over the Hatters, but both Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund were replaced through injury and the Danish duo are set to miss the next few matches at least.

It leaves Ten Hag with two tactical dilemmas. Eriksen and Scott McTominay have worked well as a midfield pair in recent weeks, and with Casemiro out it means the United boss has two obvious replacements in midfield.

Sofyan Amrabat has struggled in recent weeks and hasn’t been selected to start in the last three matches. The alternative is Mason Mount, who replaced Eriksen against Luton, but there might be concerns about the team’s defensive set-up if the ex-Chelsea midfielder is picked.
