Man United open talks for Sensational 16 goals Bundesliga striker available for less than €20 million

Manchester United have enquired about the VfB Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy to sign him in the upcoming January window.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Man United can avail his services for less than €20 million.

AC Milan, Newcastle United, West Ham, and Roma are also interested in signing him.

Guirassy has been in great form this season, netting 18 goals and registering two assists in just 13 appearances.

Erik ten Hag wants to add more firepower to his attack that has underwhelmed so far this campaign.

Rasmus Hojlund came to Old Trafford after a big-money move this summer, but he has yet to score in the Premier League.

His deputy, Anthony Martial, has scored just two goals across competitions. His off-the-ball work has been very poor and remains anonymous for large parts of the game.

Martial’s contract with the Red Devils expires next summer, but United have the option to trigger a one-year extension.

We believe Man United must sign Guirassy in January and let go of the Frenchman next summer.

Hojlund is still very young, and adding competition for the number nine spot is crucial.

Ten Hag wants internal competition for places. Having Guirassy in the squad could also bring the best out of the Denmark striker.

€20m is peanuts for the Red Devils, considering they are used to do expensive transfer deals. One example is signing Antony from Ajax for a staggering €100m in the summer of 2022.
