Man United expected to secure two key signings, ready to pay £120m this summer for duo

Man United were disastrous at the back in the Premier League this term and reports indicate, they are expected to secure two key signings this summer to strengthen the department.

According to the The Daily Mail, the Red Devils are looking at a number of defenders and are expected two sign two center backs for the next campaign.

Everton’s Branthwaite has been on the radar for quite some time and the Red Devils intend to hire his services for £55million.

If the Toffees do not accept the above mention fee then the Old Trafford outfit could move for Marc Guehi, who is valued at around £65million by Crystal Palace.

The famous British source claim French international, Jean-Clair Todibo is also on the radar and Nice value him at £40million.

On the other hand, Tosin Adarabioyo, whose current contract with Fulham will expire in June, is targeted for a free transfer.

United’s budget this summer is around £35million but owners plan to raise cash with sales to reinforce the squad for the 2024-25 campaign.

According to Football Insider, despite a loss of £115million, Man Utd are ready to splash cash to improve the team.

In all competitions, United have so far played 51 game this season and conceded 84 goals. The stats could turn even worse when they face PL champions, Man City, in the FA Cup final.

Therefore, Man United must spend cash wisely and secure key signings to strengthen the backline this summer
