Man United enter £60m transfer race as Dortmund boss makes Jadon Sancho decision clear

Just over a week after Manchester United lifted the FA Cup and we are now fully into the off-season with the 2023/24 campaign gone.

All eyes now turn to preparations for the new campaign, with uncertainty still around Manchester United.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the club’s hierarchy are undertaking a review of the season, where a decision will be made on the future of manager Erik ten Hag.

For now, the Dutchman remains in the job and will be preparing for the 2024/25 season. The FA Cup win means that it will include European football, despite an eighth-place finish in the Premier League.

Dortmund boss makes Sancho prediction
Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic has predicted that Jadon Sancho will make another appearance in the Champions League final after losing against Real Madrid over the weekend.

Sancho spent the second half of the season on loan with Dortmund from United after a public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag.

Following the final at Wembley, Terzic said: “I didn’t speak about the future because we’ve been speaking about the present. I am really happy that he is with us.

“Playing in a final in his hometown, it’s a very special moment for him. You can feel the joy he receives and brings in the dressing room.

“I am very happy to work with Jadon. We don’t know yet what the future will bring. But for sure, it’s going to bring him another Champions League final.”

MEN Sport says: Sancho seems to have returned to the form that saw him get the move to United since returning to Dortmund in January.

Despite him not being able to make a difference for his team in the Champions League final, he did play a big part in getting them there.

His future does look to be away from Old Trafford but whether it lies back in Dortmund is still to be seen.

If he does complete a permanent move then another Champions League final may be a distinct possibility.
