Man United could be without three key stars vs Liverpool

Manchester United could be without three key players when they host arch-rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Red Devils suffered a huge setback in their Champions League pursuit last night following a dramatic loss against Chelsea.

They were leading 3-2 heading into the final minutes of stoppage time before Diogo Dalot conceded a needless penalty.

Just a minute later, the Blues went on to secure an unlikely victory. Cole Palmer scored the winner from a huge deflection.

United manager Erik ten Hag will want a strong response after the setback, but he could be without three players this weekend.

Raphael Varane was spotted limping for most of the opening half and there were no surprises that he was replaced at the break.

Jonny Evans, who replaced him after the interval, also had a game to forget. He managed only 21 minutes before being taken off.

Aside from the duo, United reveal that there are doubts over the fitness of Casemiro, who was substituted in the second half.
