Man United ‘agree’ to pay £34m incredible defender Erik Ten Hag Wants at Old Trafford as Real Madrid ‘confirm farewell’

Manchester United have reportedly agreed to pay Real Madrid’s asking price for outstanding Left back Miguel Gutierrez in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Spain

Italian Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said last month: “Man Utd will sign a left-back because they know Tyrell Malacia is struggling, also the injuries of Luke Shaw this season. [They] will go for a young, talented and good, important left-back.

“This is the idea of the club and also agreed with the manager.”

Due to injuries to Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw during the previous season, Diogo Dalot was frequently forced to play outside of his position on the left side.

Speculations from Spain suggest that they plan to recruit Gutierrez in order to address their left-back problems.

The Spaniard relocated to Girona in 2022, where he has made 76 appearances in two seasons across all competitions and helped the La Liga team qualify for the Champions League the previous year.

Girona has already been notified by Real Madrid that they intend to execute the purchase option they have reserved for him, which is worth a mere eight million euros—a true steal.

But the big clubs in La Liga “will not bet on him.” Furthermore, Real Madrid plans to “confirm another farewell this summer.”

Man Utd ‘is the team that is most strongly betting on the Spanish international’ despite interest from Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.

‘Obsessed’ Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag ‘is keen to bring Gutierrez into his squad as he is not happy with the left-backs he has at his disposal’.
