Jadon Sancho completes deadline day transfer to Chelsea as Man United agree fee for Permanent sale
After losing Jadon Sancho at Manchester United, Chelsea decided to bring him to Stamford Bridge on loan. It is said that Chelsea must pay roughly £25 million to get the England international.
Jadon Sancho’s loan from Manchester United to Chelsea has officially ended on deadline day, and the Blues are still required to purchase the winger when the summer transfer market opens.
The England international, who joined the team for £73 million with high expectations but fell out of favor under Erik ten Hag last season, was heavily projected to leave Old Trafford over the majority of the summer. Instead, he was moved on loan to Dortmund.
After exhibiting excellent performance with the Bundesliga team, Sancho’s reputation increased once more, and Chelsea has chosen to bring him to Stamford bridge
The 24-year-old also had interest from Juventus in this window but the player made it clear his preference was to link up with Enzo Maresca in west London. Earlier in the day United boss Ten Hag had given the impression that Sancho could stay put during a pre-match press conference.

“As far as I know, I expect him to stay, yeah,” the Dutchman said. “We are happy with him. We need a good squad. We have to play many games until January. After the break we play every third day so we need options.”
Sancho made his peace with Ten Hag this summer following his switch to Dortmund, where he was sent after being banished to the reserves after a disagreement with the Dutchman over his trainiing performances.
The winger effectively accused Ten Hag of lying that he was being dropped from the squad because of his poor displays in training, telling his fans “don’t believe everything you read”, with the player forced to train with the academy players and banned from senior facilities and the canteen.
