I love Man united and Arsenal but I’ll join – Man United recieve Benjamin Sesko news as RB Leipzig star makes final transfer decision

Benjamin Sesko has reportedly decided to remain at RB Leipzig, seemingly ending hopes of a potential move to Manchester United.

United, along with fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea, had been linked with signing the Slovenian striker this summer after his impressive debut campaign in Germany.

Sesko scored a total of 18 goals in 42 appearances during his first season with Leipzig, ensuring he has quickly become a player in demand during the transfer window.

But it seems the Red Devils will have to turn their attention elsewhere following a latest update on the player from Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano.

It is claimed the 21-year-old has “decided to stay” at his current club and is expected to sign a new contract in the coming days.

One glimmer of hope for United relating to this news is Sesko’s fresh deal includes a “gentleman’s agreement”, paving the way for a future exit when both parties decide the time is right.

The player’s current contract was due to expire in 2028, having signed for five years last summer, though his long-term future has now been secured to preseve his value.

It was understood Sesko’s existing contract contained a release clause worth €65m (£55m), which is now likely to have been removed after negotiating improved terms with the German side.

English clubs will get a closer look at the forward during this summer’s European Championships in Germany due to England being in the same group as Slovenia.

The two countries will face off against each other on June 25, in the Three Lions’ final game in Group C
