Deal for new star arrival ‘practically done’ as Jadon Sancho bid rejected – Report

Manchester United are close to landing their top target Manuel Ugarte in the final days of the summer transfer window, with Jadon Sancho now pushing for a move of his own

Manchester United are expected to be one of the busier teams as they look to complete their move for Manuel Ugarte.

Talks remain ongoing with PSG for the Uruguayan, who has not featured in either of their opening two games this season.

Ugarte deal ‘practically done’
United’s pursuit for Manuel Ugarte looks set to be a successful one. The Red Devils have been chasing the PSG midfielder for much of the summer, though have struggled to agree a fee with the French giants.

But it now appears a compromise has been found in those discussions. According to Uruguayan newspaper El Pais, negotiations are ‘practically closed’ between the two sides, signalling a deal has been done.

It is expected that Ugarte will soon make his way to Manchester to iron out the final details. There is unlikely to be any serious obstacle though and ‘everything is on track’ for Ugarte to become a United player.

United reject Sancho swap
Manchester United chiefs are set to reject Chelsea’s offer of a swap deal involving Jadon Sancho and Ben Chilwell. Sancho is heading for the exit door at Old Trafford, having been left out of the squad for both of their games so far this season
