Cristiano Ronaldo makes surprise decision on Al-Nassr future after Man Utd transfer request -Reports

After making transfer demands that would result in him getting back together with a former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo has made up his mind on his future with Al-Nassr and is expected to extend his contract with the Saudi Pro League.

Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to sign a new deal with Al-Nassr and prolong his profitable stay in Saudi Arabia.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United player’s current contract was supposed to expire in the summer, but he has signed a new one that will last until June 2026.

In order to stay with the Saudi Pro League team, Ronaldo, who turns 40 next month, is anticipated to receive £168 million annually. Commercial agreements pertaining to his image rights and signing bonuses will augment the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s revenue.

Ronaldo has urged Al-Nassr to sign Manchester United star Casemiro. The Brazilian was team-mates with Ronaldo at Real Madrid.

Casemiro has 18 months remaining on his United contract and has made more than 100 appearances for the club. The player’s sale is said to have already been approved by head coach Ruben Amorim.

The midfielder has made just one start in the last seven Premier League matchs under Amorim and saw criticism for his outing against Newcastle United. Casemiro may now have his work cut out to displace the likes of Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo.

Speaking after defeat to the Magpies, Amorim said: “I can understand the criticism and I understand if you compare the pace of the midfielders from Newcastle and our pace I understand that

“We try to cope and try to put our players in a position that can hide a little bit that difference of pace. But I understand that after the game it’s really easy to evaluate the players.

“I think all the criticism around my team I think is fair and I can live with that. When it’s fair I can live with that and I can understand.”
