Bruno Fernandes set Man United exit deadline after £200m offer to leave Old Trafford this summer
Al-Hilal have told Bruno Fernandes to make a decision over his Manchester United future by the end of this month following their £200 million offer, according to reports.
Fernandes insisted after United’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final on Wednesday that he wants to stay at Old Trafford, but conceded that he could be sold in the summer transfer window.
‘I will be here until the club tells me it is time to leave,’ Fernandes said.
‘I am available to make the club have great days again. The day the club thinks I am too much, or it is time to leave, football is like that and you never know
According to MailOnline, Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal have offered Fernandes a lucrative three-year contract worth £700,000-a-week and up to £65m per season once signing-on fees and bonuses are included
The report adds that Al-Hilal are willing to offer United a £100m transfer fee, which would represent a significant profit on the £47m they paid to sign the Portugal international from Sporting CP in January 2020.
Al-Hilal, who are guaranteed to finish second in the Saudi Pro League this season, are pushing for a answer from Fernandes as they want their marquee signing in place for their Club World Cup campaign this summer.
The Saudi club are in Group H alongside Real Madrid, RB Salzburg and Pachuca.
United are said to be open to offers for almost every player in Amorim’s squad this summer.
Alejandro Garnacho, who aimed a dig at Amorim after being dropped for the Europa League final, was wanted by Chelsea and Napoli in the January window and is available for £60m.
