The Browns will start their fourth quarterback of the season this weekend, as Bailey Zappe will also become the 40th starting quarterback for the Browns since their arrival back in the league in 1999.

Another AFC team has equaled the Browns’ struggles over on the East Coast, and that’s the New York Jets. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has had a forgettable tenure in New York, tearing his Achilles on the fourth play of the season last year, and then returning this season to mediocrity.

There might be more questions for the Jets entering the offseason than there are for the Browns, and that’s saying something.

On a recent episode of “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith predicts an unwanted destination for the Jets’ signal caller – the AFC North.

“I don’t want to see him. I don’t want him going to the AFC North, even though I think the Browns would be an ideal landing spot,” Smith said, speaking as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Smith thinks Rodgers still has something left in his NFL tank and doesn’t want to see the Super Bowl champion face his Steelers twice next season.

Even with Rodgers’ struggles this year, he’s a better option than Deshaun Watson, who is still owed $92 million in guaranteed money by the team.
