Man Utd Take Transfer Lead Over Man City, PSG for €60M-Rated Atalanta Midfield maestro

Last month, Mundo Deportivo revealed that Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain had joined Juventus in their pursuit of Ederson, a midfielder for Atalanta. Another Premier League team is now entering the fray.

The Spanish publication claims that Atalanta has set a clear price tag of €60 million for Ederson and has no intention of lowering their expectations.

In the meanwhile, Sky Sports Earlier this month, Florian Plettenberg of Germany revealed that Ederson is also being discussed for a move to Manchester United.

The team, which wants to bolster its midfield options, has a high regard for the midfield player and may make a bid during the winter transfer window. Plettenberg provided an update on this file on Thursday, pointing out that Ederson is one of the best prospects Manchester United is considering.

While some key figures at the club are fully convinced of his potential, there isn’t unanimous agreement yet. As a result, no formal negotiations have begun at this stage.

Manchester United have done their homework, though, scouting him extensively and gathering all necessary details. The Atalanta midfielder is under contract until 2027, with a valuation between €50 million and €60 million.
