Man Utd fans all saying same thing about Alejandro Garnacho performance vs Tottenham in Europa League final

Following Alejandro Garnacho’s performance for Ruben Amorim’s team in the 2025 Europa League final versus Tottenham, Manchester United supporters expressed their unambiguous opinions about the player.

After Manchester United eliminated La Liga team Athletic Club from the semifinals of the 2024–25 season, the Red Devils advanced to the Europa League final. In the first leg of the semi-finals, United defeated 10-man Athletic Club 3-0 in Bilbao.

The Red Devils then hosted the Spanish team at Old Trafford for the second game. United defeated Athletic Club 4-1 at home, and the Red Devils overcame a 1-0 deficit at Old Trafford before halftime to win the second leg.

United punched their ticket to the Europa League final on Wednesday and Ruben Amorim’s men met Premier League rivals Tottenham in an all-English showdown.

Spurs secured their place in the final after Ange Postecoglou’s men secured victories both home and away over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-finals.

Red Devils supporters insisted that Garnacho should have played in the No 10 role for the Europa League final ahead of Mason Mount on Wednesday evening.

One United fan said: “Garnacho should’ve started the [match] or at least come on at HT [half-time].”

Another X user wrote: “Garnacho shot on target within minutes he came on; WHY DID HE NOT START! [sic].”

“Garnacho should’ve started, NGL,” somebody else tweeted.

While a fourth added: “Garnacho did more in [two] minutes than Mount. LOL.”

And a fifth Red Devils supporter posted: “United definitely should [have] brought on Garnacho a lot sooner.”
