Man Utd fans all agree about Ruben Amorim’s ‘elite’ warrior for his ‘masterclass’ vs Athletic Club as he’s Absolutely World-class’

Manchester United fans waxed lyrical about one key first-team player stepping up for Ruben Amorim’s men after the Europa League semi-final win against Athletic Club.

The Red Devils are through to the 2025 Europa League final and Manchester United will meet Premier League rivals Tottenham at the San Mames Stadium on 21st May.

Tottenham defeated Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt across both legs of the Europa League semi-final and have now punched their ticket to the final in Bilbao.

Ange Postecoglou’s men beat Bodo/Glimt 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first leg before Spurs picked up a 2-0 result away from home on Thursday

United defeated 10-man Athletic Club in Spain last Thursday in the first leg of the semi-finals before hosting the La Liga outfit for the return leg at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils came from 1-0 down in the second leg and United thumped Athletic Club 4-1 at Old Trafford and secured their place in the final of the Europa League.

Ruben Amorim is now within touching distance of securing his first piece of major silverware as United manager after his arrival from Sporting CP in 2024

United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, raved about Casemiro’s performance against Athletic Club and his impact for the Red Devils.

“We all need to apologise to [uncle] Casemiro now. What a player he is,” one Red Devils supporter suggested.

Another United fan said: “Casemiro to score in the final, [it] is written in the stars.”

“Another masterclass from Casemiro in Europe,” a third X user wrote

Somebody else tweeted: “This is the Casemiro we know from the first season we signed him; kudos to him for stepping up his game once again.”

While a fifth added: “Form is temporary, class is permanent.”

And a sixth claimed: “Casemiro is a great example to the rest of [the] Man Utd squad. Elite mentality.”

“Casemiro just loves to boss Spanish teams reminiscing of his Madrid days,” another commented.

Somebody else argued: “All my hopes for the final are around Casemiro. No joke. He’s a born European [trophy] winner.”
