Juventus Midfield maestro set for fresh Man United talks after making transfer decision
Adrien Rabiot intends to speak with all of his suitors as he weighs up his next move, as outlined by Football Italia, including Liverpool and United.
With Manchester United and Liverpool among his pursuers, Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is free to have negotiations with other teams after his contract in Italy expires.
Following his departure from Juventus, Adrien Rabiot is scheduled to have meetings with Manchester United and Liverpool.
This week, the 29-year-old Frenchman will formally announce his exit from the Italian powerhouse.
He became a free agent at the beginning of the month after playing out his contract at the Allianz Stadium.
Many elite European clubs are expected to follow that decision, and the midfield virtuoso will investigate a transfer to the Premier League because two of the biggest clubs in England are showing interest.
Newcastle are another club who are set to hold discussions with Rabiot, while AC Milan and Napoli, now managed by Antonio Conte, will attempt to persuade him to remain in Italy.
Rabiot is looking for a contract worth £7.5m a year: a sum that may be too rich for clubs in Serie A.
Juventus offered a base salary of £5.8m in their final contract offer.
Rabiot has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent years and Manchester United are long-term admirers of the midfielder.
Rabiot was in talks with Man United when he was still on the books at Paris-Saint Germain before then-manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided against pushing ahead with a deal.
And Rabiot was back on the club’s radar following the appointment of Erik ten Hag, but again, a deal failed to materialise.
