ESPN Posts Surprise Six-Word Message About Texas’ Arch Manning
The Texas Longhorns are heading into the offseason after a 13-3 record and a semifinal loss in the College Football Playoff. Texas fell short of reaching the national title game after being defeated by the Ohio State Buckeyes 28-14.
While they were successful under quarterback Quinn Ewers and the rest of the roster in their first season in the SEC, the Longhorns will turn the page into a much-anticipated chapter of the program’s future.
Following the season, ESPN took to social media, sharing a photo of Manning and a few highlights of the Texas quarterback, mentioning, “There’s a new sheriff in town.”

The dual-threat quarterback also posted four touchdowns and 108 yards on the ground. During his two-year career with the Longhorns, from 2023 to 2024, Manning has totaled 13 touchdowns and 1,084 yards, passing and rushing.
