Man United eye £51m Juventus Top striker with 43goals after Van Nistelrooy recommendation

According to FootballTransfers, Ruud van Nistelrooy is excited for Manchester United to sign Juventus attacker Dusan Vlahovic in January.

Over the previous few years, the 24-year-old has been frequently linked to a Premier League transfer, and we know that Man Utd’s assistant manager is a big fan.

Man Utd intends to scout Vlahovic over the next months in order to determine his interest in a possible mid-season transfer to Old Trafford, per Van Nistelrooy’s recommendation.

With just three Serie A games played this season, the Juventus star—who has less than two years left on his current Turin contract—has already scored two goals and is regarded as one of Europe’s best attackers.

Vlahovic was on Arsenal’s radar before he joined Juventus in January 2022, while Man Utd were also linked with the Serbian international last year.

However, the Red Devils are now ready to step up their interest after being urged to consider a move by Van Nistelrooy.

As exclusively reported by FootballTransfers, Van Nistelrooy was a contender to replace Erik ten Hag this summer, but the Man Utd legend opted to accept an assistant manager role instead.

However, he remains a prime candidate to take over if Man Utd decide to sack Ten Hag at any point over the next few years.

As a result, Man Utd are taking Van Nistelrooy’s advice seriously and are strongly considering a move for Vlahovic during the January transfer window.

Despite the presence of Rasmus Hojlund, the summer acquisition of Joshua Zirkzee and the imminent arrival of Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal, Man Utd are still interested in signing another centre-forward and Vlahovic is among their targets.
