Man United prepare for Chelsea’s Jadon Sancho bid as ‘verbal agreement’ reached

PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Manchester United over a transfer this summer.

According to MEN Sport, Erik ten Hag is hoping to bolster his central midfield this summer, and Ugarte is at the top of his list.

The Uruguayan is rumored to be eager to join the Premier League, and PSG appears to be getting ready to live without him after leaving the player out of their starting lineup for the 4-1 victory against Le Havre.

Journalist Florian Plettenberg claims that all parties are currently in an advanced stage of negotiations.

There is a general guarantee that one will be finished, even if he emphasized that the agreement is not yet over the line. As a result, there has apparently been verbal agreement made over the transfer.

Why Manchester United press conferences are now on Thursdays
Elsewhere, The Athletic reports that United are internally preparing themselves for Chelsea to make a bid for Jadon Sancho before the transfer window slams shut.

The Reds value Sancho at £40m and MEN Sport understands United would be open to selling him before deadline day.

The report suggests that United are struggling to offload Sancho due to his wages with few clubs willing to match his current package.

According to Capology, Sancho is on £250,000 per week at Old Trafford making him the fourth-highest earner at the club behind Casemiro, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes.

Despite this, it is claimed that some inside United feel Chelsea will make a last-ditch bid to sign Sancho before the window closes considering Raheem Sterling is being listed as for sale
