CONFIRMED! – Sky Sports confirm star Player spotted in Carrington with his agents as Talks ongoing in England with £30m deal Man United potentially ‘days’ away from completion after Hojlund

Sofyan Amrabat’s representatives are reportedly in England to hold talks with Manchester United as a move to the Premier League giants edges ever closer.

While both Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein have played down suggestions that the Moroccan’s arrival at Old Trafford is ‘imminent’, Sofyan Amrabat’s unveiling as a Manchester United player still feels like a case of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’.

Personal terms will not be an issue. Fiorentina, meanwhile, are reportedly willing to sell too, so long as they receive a bid in the region of £30 million (Daily Mail).

What’s more, despite interest from the likes of Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Al Ahli, Amrabat has had his heart set on joining Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund at Old Trafford ever since the window opened.

Manchester United expected to sign Sofyan Amrabat
Once United free up further transfer funds – probably by finding a buyer for the likes of Fred and/or Donny Van de Beek – do not be surprised to see the Amrabat deal go from zero to 60 in the blink of an eye. Especially with the 26-year-old’s camp already in England for talks with the Premier League giants.

“Intermediaries involved in the Sofiane Amrabat deal are currently in England to handle talks with the Red Devils,” explains reporter Sacha Tavolieri. “This matter is expected to evolve in the coming days.”

Amrabat, who worked with Ten Hag at FC Utrecht and missed out on a move to Manchester during the January window, will help to further transform a midfield which has come a long way since the dreaded days of ‘McFred’.

A £30m bargain
Versatile and technical enough to thrive both as a ‘number six’ and as a ‘number eight’, Amrabat would give Ten Hag a top quality back-up for Casemiro, and a more defensively-minded option to solidify the centre of the pitch against high-quality opposition.

“He’s been sensational. He has got a bit of everything,” former England international Danny Murphy told the BBC while Amrabat helped Morocco reach the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar.

“Up against a talented Belgium midfield (in the group-stages), he was the main man. He can play. He can mix it up. He’s a real talent.”
