United & Inter ‘wrap-up’ Onana deal
Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana warms up before the UEFA Champions League
With Manchester United looking to replace David De Gea between the sticks, it’s now been reported that the Red Devils have wrapped up a deal to sign Cameroonian star, Andre Onana.
De Gea recently called time on a 12-year stint with United where he bagged titles such as the Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Europa League during his time in England.
After failing to agree a fresh deal at Old Trafford, De Gea bid farewell to the English giants earlier this month. In the meantime, United have been searching for options to replace De Gea and earmarked Onana as his replacement.
The technically gifted goalkeeper worked under Erik Ten Hag during his time at Ajax Amsterdam, with the Dutch mentor said to be keen on signing the African star.
According to Sky Sports Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, via Sempreinter, United and Inter Milan have wrapped up a deal for the player.
The same report mentioned that terms were agreed on a conference call on Thursday evening and that Onana’s situation will ‘change’ very soon en-route to becoming a United player
