Scouts for Manchester United would have been astounded by one target’s performance in the past week following a Man of the Match performance.

Ruben Amorim gave priority to adding wingbacks to Manchester United’s roster before the January transfer market opened.

Despite his innate affinity for the left side, United paid £25 million to acquire Patrick Dorgu, who made his debut as right wingback against Leicester City.

Fans will, however, be expecting big summer additions because of the club’s standing, as United executives continue to pursue young, talented players in accordance with recent transfer windows.

One player who has been strongly linked to the club is 17-year-old Sporting starlet Geovany Quenda, with some reports even claiming that an agreement has been reached between the clubs for a summer deal.

Quenda came through the ranks under Amorim in Portugal and was being used as his right wingback before United came in to snatch the manager.
