Today’s Man United news as Kobbie Mainoo makes surprise exit call with £37m transfer ‘closing in’ -Reports

Express Sport provides all the latest Man Utd news, including updates on Kobbie Mainoo’s future and Ruben Amorim’s transfer plans.

Manchester United are still locked in negotiations with Kobbie Mainoo over a contract extension at Old Trafford, sparking uncertainty surrounding his future.

Chelsea are said to be circling in case Mainoo and the Red Devils can’t find a compromise, with his value at around £70million but he is expected to stay put.

It’s claimed that United are on the verge of sealing Inacio’s signature to bolster Amorim’s defensive options next season.

Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans are set to leave as free agents when their contracts expire in July, while Harry Maguire is entering the final year of his deal.

The 23-year-old reportedly also has interest from elsewhere, though, with Borussia Dortmund linked.
