PSG star Ugarte sends transfer message to fans ahead of completing Manchester United transfer

According to Reports, Manuel Ugarte is all set to travel to Old Trafford today for his medical to complete his move from PSG to Manchester United.

The Red Devils have been firmly set on signing the Uruguay international, with him being the only real name on their shortlist of midfielders. United feel he is the perfect fit to play alongside Kobbie Mainoo to solidify the midfield.

After a summer-long pursuit of Ugarte, with it being reported at one point that United had walked away from the midfielder, United have finally got their man.

The deal has been agreed for €50 million (£42.3 million) plus a further €10 million (£8.4 million) in add-ons. Whilst the French champions were holding out for offers of at least €60 million (£50.7 million) as a fixed transfer fee, it appears that United have managed to negotiate this to include the performance based add-ons.

United’s technical director Jason Wilcox flew out to Paris, and whilst the intensions of his travel were not reveal, it’s a easy bet to make to say it was to complete the Ugarte deal.

Now, ahead of his flight, Ugarte has posted a very cryptic message on social media.

Notably his Uruguayan teammate Facundo Pellistri, who recently moved from United to Panathinaikos has commented on the post with clapping hands and a heart, showing respect for Ugarte and loving the transfer that’s on its way to being closed
