Paul Pogba makes Man United return decision following surprise Juventus exit Reports

Paul Pogba is presently training in Miami and is anticipated to turn down a return to Manchester United as he plans his future move.

As the France international midfielder considers his options before making a comeback to action, Paul Pogba is not expected to think about rejoining Manchester United.

The World Cup champion, 31, is currently training in Miami and is looking to sign with a prestigious European team.

But a third stint at Old Trafford is reportedly out of the question for Pogba, who departed Juventus last week when the Serie A team mutually terminated his contract.

Pogba received a four-year suspension in September 2023 after testing positive for doping in August of the same year, which showed increased testosterone levels

This ban was cut down to 18 months upon appeal, clearing him to train in January and play again by March next year.

Pogba made a heartfelt statement after his Juventus exit, saying: “There are times when things don’t go the way we want, but one thing is certain: the bond I have with you, dear fans, will remain unforgettable.”

He expressed his gratitude towards the supporters, adding: “You have given me so much, more than I can express in words, and I will always carry with me all the affection you have given me. You will always be in my heart. Good luck @juventus.”

Juventus confirmed their parting with Pogba on their website, stating: “Juventus Football Club and Paul Pogba announce that they have reached a mutual agreement for the termination of their contract as of 30 November, 2024. The club wishes Paul the very best for his professional future.”

Paul Pogba has vowed to rediscover his top form after serving a doping ban, claiming he’s now more driven than ever. “I’m still the same player but with a different hunger,” he said. “I am more motivated. I am more hungry.”

The midfielder added that his time away from the game has given him a newfound appreciation for it. United, meanwhile, are likely to offload some players before making any new signings, although new boss Ruben Amorim may have his own plans for reshaping the squad he’s inherited from Erik ten Hag.
