Paul Pogba drops cryptic one-word message to fans amid Surprise Man United Return speculation

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has continued his cryptic social media posts ahead of the expiration of his ban from professional football

The France international has not played for nearly 18 months following a sanction after testing positive for DHEA.

He was initially banned for four years from the sport before it was reduced upon appeal after authorities were satisfied that he had not taken the hormone, which can increase testosterone levels, knowingly

Soon after the reduction, he parted ways with Italian giants Juventus, making him a free agent as he geared up to return to competitive action.

After months of speculation and cryptic messages, the 31-year-old is on the verge of a return next month.

In a post on Instagram, Pogba wrote: “Patience,” as he continues to go through his paces ahead of his comeback.

In recent weeks, there have been multiple reports suggesting that the Frenchman could be on his way to the MLS, Turkey, Brazil or a reunion with ex-United teammate Mason Greenwood.

In the latest edition of Ball.LDN, the midfielder said: “The French team are exciting and I’m a big fan of them already.

“I can’t wait to see how they further develop and win a future World Cup – hopefully with me as a team-mate. The way I dress is a reflection of myself in every sense

“It represents who I am, what I’ve been through, how I’m feeling… many things.” He continued: “Winning the 2018 World Cup made me hungry for more and more. It made me want to win every medal and every trophy out there.”
