Mikel Arteta says £100M striker Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants at Man United is ‘UNBELIEVABLE’
Manchester United are having a disappointing season. Erik ten Hag’s side are not going to finish in the Premier League top four.
Arguably the biggest club in England, Manchester United have fallen from grace. The Red Devils have not won the Premier League title since the Sir Alex Ferguson era
Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal have left United behind, and under new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the Red Devils will be looking to embark on yet another rebuild project.
United do have a decent squad, but it is nowhere near competing for the Premier League title. There is a reason why Erik ten Hag’s side are likely to end up outside the top five.
One of the areas that United need to strengthen in the summer transfer window is upfront. Rasmus Hojlund is a very good and promising young striker who has started to do well for the Red Devils, but he is only 21.
So, I am not surprised at all that Ratcliffe is looking to bring Harry Kane to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
HITC reported in February that United want to sign a new striker in the summer transfer window. Ratcliffe, INEOS and Sir Dave Brailsford see Kane as the ideal option.
Kane will be in action for Bayern Munich against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Tuesday evening.
The 30-year-old England international striker, who joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, will be looking to help the Bavarian giants beat the Gunners in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie.
Mikel Arteta praises striker Manchester United are keen on
Ahead of the game, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has spoken highly of Kane and has noted what makes him special.
Arteta told Arsenal’s official website when asked what makes Kane a big threat: “Consistency. When you look at his numbers over the last 10 years, it’s unbelievable what he’s done.
“He can score in many different ways, he’s got the service, he’s got the players around him as well to provide those opportunities and this is what we have to try to avoid.”
Harry Kane would be a tremendous signing for Manchester United
In my opinion, Harry Kane would be a brilliant signing for Manchester United and would make the Red Devils a hugely potent team.
Kane is a world-class striker. He is one of the best out there and would make an immediate impact on the team.
The England international striker scored 213 goals and gave 46 assists in 320 appearances in the Premier League.
Kane has scored 38 goals and provided 12 assists in 37 matches in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season
